Christmas calm descends on the small town, but the Christmas market is abuzz with activity. Marianne finds a teddy bear on the top shelf. Is it alive? Marianne must get the teddy bear. But Teddy wants to get to a rich family. I just watched this movie with my 8 year old niece and it is so empty, lazy and generic. Nothing happens. You can watch the first 10 minutes and the last 5 minutes of this movie and absolutely nothing will change. Everything is so forced, a bunch of Christmas generic stuff, no characters with any level of growth or change, so many things that don’t make sense. I get that this is a kids movie, but they could have put more thought into it. The best way to describe the movie would be like watching a Dharman video that is 80 minutes long, but even more stupid. The only reason I give this movie 4 stars is because it looks good. It’s not perfect, but it’s more than good.
